We are a “Backpacker Rinjani” Tour and Travel agent located in Sembalun village at the foot of Mount Rinjani, we specialize in Rinjani Trekking, Lombok Tours, Camping and manage an accommodation professionally since 1990, the majority of our team has been recruited and selected from the local community, they have the best mountain climbing skills, are experienced and have been trained a lot in how to serve tourists who are going to climb mountains or other tours in Lombok. We provide several tour and trekking programs, especially for beginners or experienced climbers with private groups or in large numbers.

					  Such a lovely experience - Hiking Mount Rinjani has been such a nice experience!! The guide and porters Tutik provided me were friendly and highly professional, I have been happy to tip the porters after... read more the trek considering how heavy their job is! I was travelling alone and the night before starting the hicke I stayed at Tutik's homestay, it has been so pleasant to spend the night with him and his family, they invited me for dinner and I joined a traditional celebration they were performing that night. They were a large group of people (family and neighbours I guess) they gave be traditional clothes and everyone was interested in speaking with me (I was the only tourist at the moment). Thanks Tutik I will never forget you and your peaceful community!!

					  Nice views, somewhat disappointing experience  - Edit: 10/02/2023, after some emails back and forth Tutik agreed to refund a portion of our payment. This was very considerate of him. Original review with some edits: Good guide... read more and porters but the owner’s practices are questionable. We did the Timbanuah trek which describes a second summit climb (a detail that I further confirmed with Tutik via email). When we got to the crater rim the guide said that was as far as we were going and they he had never done the second summit (and Tutik had not mentioned anything to him about a second summit climb). When I emailed Tutik after the trek he denied that there is a second summit option (despite his website describing it very clearly), and told us that nobody does this summit (however, the one other group that camped at the crater rim the same night attempted a second summit the next day). He refused to admit any fault or give a partial refund despite the fact that we paid for a 3,700 m 2 day hike and only hiked to 2,600 m and 1.5 days. Very dissatisfied with the deceptive practices of this company. Again, porters were good, guide was nice, food was abundant, views were great but our experience with the operator and disappointment with the route tainted the experience.

ACCOMMODATION

HOTEL

We provide sleep one night at Rudi's Villa in Sembalun before hiking Mount Rinjani.It offers hot showers in the bathroom, a restaurant, and accommodations with double or twin beds.

CAMPING TENT

We provide sleeping bags and mattress in our tents so you can have a good night's sleep and stay warm and protected from the wind and cold throughout your Lombok Mount Rinjani trip.
